Bath currently provides the Network brachytherapy Service for patients in Avon, Somerset and Wiltshire. In addition they take some referrals from South Gloucestershire, South Wales, Devon and Cornwall.

One-stop Joint Urology Radiotherapy Clinic where the patient meets all members of the BXT Team together for an open discussion and if suitable, the patient date is booked. The nursing team can be contacted directly by telephone by patients for guidance and advice. Prostate volume reduction can be offered selectively, medically or surgically, in order to maximise the opportunity to patients who wish to pursue brachytherapy as their chosen therapeutic treatment modality.
