On 27 November 2006, Channel 4's Dispatches series broadcast a programme called Britain's Postcode Lottery. In researching this programme they collected information about differences across the UK in availability of and resources for treating 16 different conditions, including heart disease, asthma, diabetes and cancer. They presented data for PCTs across England. Findings that are relevant to the provision of brachytherapy are reproduced here.
Click on the map to select a region.
Please note that these data were collected before the reorganisation of the PCT structure in October 2006, and some of the PCTs represented have now merged.
