On 27 November 2006, Channel 4's Dispatches series broadcast a programme called Britain's Postcode Lottery. In researching this programme they collected information about differences across the UK in availability of and resources for treating 16 different conditions, including heart disease, asthma, diabetes and cancer. They presented data for PCTs across England.
